Every morning, Lucy and Arton met under the old oak at the edge of the village. They smiled and shared stories and dreams. Their laughter spread through the warm summer air. The morning sun warmed them and felt like a new start. One afternoon, they decided to make a small garden by the stream. They planted sunflowers and daisies with hands full of soil. As the seeds took root, their memories grew too, with the smell of wet earth and the soft buzz of bees. One day dark clouds came and rain began, but they stayed together under one umbrella with bright stripes. They jumped in puddles and splashed each other until they laughed louder than the raindrops. In that moment, they did not need shelter, because their friendship kept them warm. As the seasons passed they grew, and years later they met again under the same oak, with a bond as bright as ever.
