This Privacy Policy explains how Fabulisti collects, uses, shares, stores, and deletes information when you use our mobile app, website, and related services, including www.fabulisti.com.

Information We Collect

  • Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, authentication provider, user ID, selected avatar, and subscription or entitlement status.
  • Reading and preference data, such as stories you read, favorites, likes, progress, weekly goals, notification settings, language preferences, and messages you send to us through support or our contact form.
  • Technical, diagnostic, and usage information, such as device and installation identifiers, push notification tokens, app integrity signals, crash and performance data, analytics, and feature interaction data. On supported devices, translation models may also be downloaded locally for on-device translation features.

How We Use Your Information

  • To create and secure your account, sign you in, sync your library and progress, restore and manage subscriptions, and provide core features such as reading history, favorites, goals, notifications, translation, and text-to-speech tools.
  • To personalize your experience, including recommendations, reading summaries, and content or notifications based on your activity, preferences, and settings.
  • To operate, analyze, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Fabulisti, including measuring performance, detecting abuse or fraud, fixing bugs, and responding to support requests.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information for third-party advertising tracking. We share data only with service providers and platform partners that help us operate Fabulisti, including Google Firebase services for authentication, database, storage, messaging, app integrity, analytics, and performance monitoring; Apple or Google when you choose those sign-in or purchase methods; and RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchases, and entitlements.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, to comply with legal process, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, security, and safety of Fabulisti, our users, or the public.

Data Retention and Security

We keep account, reading, preference, and subscription-related data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational obligations. Support messages may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and keep support records.

You can request account deletion from within the app or by contacting us. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your authentication record and user data, subject to limited retention where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or operational reasons. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

  • You can choose whether to create an account, and you can sign in with email and password, Google, or Apple where available.
  • You can manage notification permissions in the app and in your device settings, and you can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or additional information about your personal data.
  • Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google through their stores. We do not receive your full payment card details. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings, and paid access remains available until the end of the current billing period if you cancel.
